Last months sleep regression was sad. For her and for me.. but we're back to sleeping more and this mama is *super* happy about it. She wakes up with a non-crusty nose and maybe, just maybe this means we can make it to the gym this week.
A week or so ago we got her weighed at seventeen pounds and girlfriend loves her food. She's been eating the stuff I make her, but she's also eating little bits of whatever she can get her hands on. In the mornings if I've made myself oatmeal she will crawl as fast as she can to where I'm sitting make dinosaur noises at me until she can have some. Pancakes, waffles, chicken, avocado, sweet potato, blueberries.. those are all new as far as her feeding herself. Its so nice to be able to tear up some food and put in on her chair for her to self feed now.
She's definitely all over the place now. She often crawls under the table or a chair and will get herself stuck and get upset. I can't go to the bathroom without both girls following me now.. dog bowls have to go up on the counter because she's tried to eat their food several times and she's all about crawling over to the pups. She stands all the time and tries to take steps, but usually falls back on her butt.
Raelyn still gives her all the heart eyes. Yesterday they both played with two cups.. Rae would talk into one and Bre would crack up over it. THE BEST EVER. Sharing is touch and go. If Aubrey gets ahold of Rae's beloved jeeps its game over.. "no aw-bee, that's my jeep" so we're working on that. Other times she'll gladly build blocks with her, handing her a new one every minute.
Nursing is still going good, thankfully! Pumping is the worst so I just don't stress over it as much as I used to. If we go on a lengthy car ride or if handsome has her for a longer period of time and there's not a lot of milk in the freezer she'll get formula. I'm so glad she takes it and that we have it there as a buffer.
and that's our month eight. Nothing overly crazy, except that she's another month older, I've packed away her 3-6 month clothes and I've been thinking of ONE YEAR ideas?!?!!? Say it ain't so.
