Weekend things

This weekend kicked my butt for some reason. Every night I was ready for bed when the girls went down. Signs of a good weekend for sure.

Friday the swim suits went on almost as soon as breakfast was finished. It was such a pretty day out and thankfully we get enough shade in the back yard that I don't have to worry too much about Rae getting burnt. We may have even put Marshmallow in the pool with Rae this weekend, too. Surprisingly he didn't seem to mind.

She makes that swim diaper look good.

Saturday we went to find the glorious Waffle Window in Portland and it was everything I was hoping it'd be. The batter itself was heavenly and the local Mt. Hood strawberries that covered mine were even better. I opted for no whip cream, ya know.. Save a few calories and handsome got his with bacon and avocado. Rae ate almost all the bacon and the chocolate covered waffle samples. This place is going to be a regular spot for sure.

We went to a few places I've been wanting to go by for possible locations for some upcoming styled photoshoots I have (eeeeeek!!!) and then I headed to work for the remainder of the day.

Sunday handsome had the girls all day. After work I did a little shopping, I really wanted some new dresses and maybe a pair of shorts and let me tell you it was im-poss-ible. Not only was the mall so busy, lines everywhere and everything was just eh. So I left with one dress from H&M and came home to my people.

Handsome cooked dinner and we spent the rest of the evening looking for "squish" (squirrels) in the back yard. Those binoculars are a huge hit right now even though she holds them backwards. It was a great weekend, but I am so ready for bed. and I might even be already planning to take a nap during the girls nap time tomorrow.
