Lately.

Lately handsome and I have been dreaming big.

Lately Rae has been quite the handful.

She's also been as sweet as pie, recovering herself quickly with a "luh-you mommy"

Lately Aubrey has found a new love with her grey kitty. She smiles and coo's at the thing and it's adorable.

Lately I have not been on my blogging game, my apologies.

Summer is just around the corner and after being pregnant and indoors most of winter I am itching to get out and explore. There's several waterfalls, mountains to climb and coffee joints I'm dying to hit up. There's also long afternoons spent in the backyard piled up on a blanket under our big tree watching the leaves blow and the birds come in and out of their nest that are to be done. I love this little family of mine and I'm sitting here feeling so thankful for the opportunities we've been given, thankful for a hard working husband who supports me staying home with our girls. Some days are hard, like really hard. Some days I feel so defeated, but those squeeze you tight around the neck moments, the big 'first' smile moments outweigh that by leaps and bounds.

Anywho. There's some randomness thrown at ya on this lovely Wednesday evening.. I've got a date with the only one who can stay awake past 8:00 in our house and because season five parenthood.. currently bawling on every episode.

  1. Parenthood... I hear you, it has me crying every single night. I'm almost done of season 5 now lol! I've been binge watching it big time... I blame the first trimester on my blogging slack but it's really parenthood. Love your girls, they're so sweet :) XO

  2. Awww... sounds like your living a full life these days. And yes, Parenthood. It still makes me so sad that the show has ended. :(

  3. I'm in the same boat. It's like I've been let free with the weather and everything. Rarely on the computer and when I am I've been busy digging deep into random searches. Parenthood is on my list, but I'm trying to decide if I want to be sucked into a show with so many seasons to catch up on.

  4. The "luh you mommy" kills me every time!! I need to record a million videos of Mia saying it before her sweet toddler vocab changes!
I need to watch Parenthood! I finally finished Gilmore Girls and yes... it's a little depressing in the Brinkerhoff house at the moment ;) ha ha!

  5. The "wub you mommy" gets me every. single. time! Your girls are just so sweet! They are the cutest. We don't blame you one bit for your "lack of blogging", especially when you have those sweet littles to cuddle!!! I have been on a MAJOR blogging slump lately, and I don't have Parenthood to blame for it! :)
