Easter weekend is one of my very favorite holidays. We keep it pretty low key around here, a little bunny basket for the babe and *gasp* I didn't even get anything for Bre. Easter is a time to celebrate our savior and maybe next year I'll be able to teach Rae a little more about this special holiday when she can understand better. This little family of mine gets to be together forever because HE lives, because HE has risen and that my friends is the greatest love story of them all.
The sun came out all weekend and we we're able to give Marshall some love, (we now have a yard so he gets to run around for a few hours each day, yay!) and we decorated some eggs by doing the nail polish marble technique (new shirt ruined..) but the eggs did turn out quite pretty
Post nap egg hunt was a success. I was thoroughly surprised that she waited until the very end to open them up for the jelly beans.
and we didn't quite make it to Sunday service because I worked until almost 4a.m the night prior so we ate macaroons for breakfast that the Easter bunny kindly left in some eggs and played outside until it got too chilly. A sweet, sweet Sunday with my favorite people!
