It's Christmas week, y'all!

...which is possibly the reason no one in the house slept through the night last night. We have a pretty strict "don't get in bed with the babe under any circumstance rule" in our house because Lord knows the one time we do she will insist on it every night following.

Well I went to cuddle up to handsome around three a.m (one of the several times I woke up last night, yay third trimester!) and he was gone. Guess who was caught snuggled up with the babe?

poor guy could even fall asleep until around three and he said he read this little post (saved on his phone) and it made him miss Rae.. melt my heart. I love that article, especially #5, #18, #20..really all of it. If you could've only heard what I heard when she woke up in the morning. " hi daddy! daddy! hi daddy!" SO, so cute.

Guess who didn't go out and buy new Christmas jammies this year. Whoops. Well honestly, I was going to but this would be the last year she'd fit into these flannel jams and they are my absolute favorite. Next year her and Aubrey can be twinsies ;)

...Behr taking FULL advantage of being called onto the couch by the almost two year old.

& last Friday we went to handsome's work Christmas shin-dig where we decorated some sugar cookies, ran around with all the big kids and even got to meet Santa.

each kid received a present, which I thought was really sweet and also probably the only reason she walked up to him. No sitting on Santa's lap this year.

The Sunday before Christmas and Christmas eve services have always been my favorite! Growing up I was never quite involved with church and definitely didn't have the relationship I do now with Christ, but as the years go by handsome and I have a deeper relationship not only with each other but with the Lord. It truly is something to be thankful for and I might've teared up a few times when the children's choir sang. It was a fun weekend and now we're ready to spend the rest of the week with Stefan's dad who just flew in and with Stefan since he is basically off until January 4th! HOORAY!
