FINALLY, friday.

It's no secret that we live for the weekends, but I NEED this weekend. Seriously, if it were still a Tuesday I don't think I'd make it. So here's some happy with this lovely little link-up.

guess what we're being this year....
I'm totally jumping the gun and posting a sneak. I can't help it, I sewed, cut and hot glue gunned all of that cuteness (besides Stefan's shirt) and now I'm just down right giddy about it. If Rae decides to have a growth spurt her dress might not fit, but I'm just going to pretend that won't happen. I picked up that BabyLit book so Rae could get herself into character and she seem's thrilled, especially when she sees that wolf.

I've been on Craigslist looking for a full antique headboard for Rae and came across this and had to get it. I'm not sure if it'll go in Aubrey or Rae's room, but I love it! I've been eyeing these knobs.. or basically any from Anthro, but I need to figure out which babe's room this is going in first.

can't stop drinking apple cider. I made a batch earlier this week and it's almost gone. We're all on an apple kick, especially Rae who likes to say "ah-ple, ah-ple" twenty times a day.

THIS article just made me a puddle the other day. So sweet, so true. You can basically find me crying over random things at least once a week. Thank you, Aubrey. Having two little babes makes simultaneously want to burst into tears and pull my hair out at the thought of them one day getting married, but it's never too early to pray for their futures and well-being.

and lastly, you can find me here.. well usually squished under a very early riser asking for "bu-bu-bubble gupp" but I have no plans except sleeping and taking a nap or two this weekend. Big girl bed transitioning is officially a pain, but we're holding out! Mainly because if we stuck her back in a crib I'm pretty sure she would still just cry so might as well just stick it out. So thankful for a half day for the mister AND Monday off.

happy friday, friends!

  1. Yes! I can't wait to see your Halloween costumes ON!!! I die over the cuteness!!

  2. Cutest Halloween costumes EVER! And I can't wait to see what you do with the dresser!

  3. Oh my gosh... you are super mom!! Love that you made your costumes and I can't WAIT to see ya'll in them!!
Oh momma, I am so not looking forward to the bed transitioning. Like AT ALL! Maybe she will sleep in her crib until she's 18? Bahaha!
