Hiking the Eagle Creek Trail

This weekends adventure consisted of a fun six mile hike and waterfalls.
Two things I learned from this little trip: I am so out of shape and don't look down. Different air, basically zero exercise lately and probably this growing belly got me a little winded on a few parts of the hike, but I made it. Handsome is clearly the opposite. He carried Rae the whole way and zero complaints from him or the babe. We made it to punchbowl falls where there were a crazy amount of people jumping off cliffs into the waterfall and eating lunch so we hung out and let Rae run around for a while. There were several other waterfalls on this trail, but we decided to head back since it was already late in the day.

I love so much that we get to explore and spend time outdoors as a family. Rae is definitely a fan and we hope that she will always love our adventures together. We've yet figured out where we're going camping, but we have a trip planned for the end of the month. You can camp almost anywhere and there were tons of people camped out where we stopped for lunch, but we have to find places that both the dogs and Rae would be comfortable at. So looking forward to that trip! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
