Dare I say it..

I'm not really a huge Starbucks fan-- GASP! I know.. but really, I make a better coffee at my house and I actually KNOW how much sugar I'm putting in my cup. Handsome could drink it black, but I need some flavor. So we just stick to creamer and we want to try and make our own creamer this fall too.

A friend of mine shared this article on Facebook and although I didn't know the actual breakdown of how much sugar was in their drinks, I knew it was much more than we like to have--especially if we have more than one cup!

Don't get me wrong I love me some PSL, but if your browsed Pinterest you'd find lighter options and you would probably be spending less.

Don't hate me. I'm not super healthy, but I would much rather eat a cupcake and waste my artificial sugar intake on that, than my coffee ;) 


  1. Plus!! Think of the money you're saving by making it at home! I'm not a coffee drinker but I loooooove me some hot chocolate. I die when I spend $5 on a hot chocolate from starbucks... I can get a whole can from the grocery store for less than that!

  3. Yes, I saw that too! I made the mistake of reading it. Gross. I rarely get starbucks anyway. But, I do like to get a PSL once in the fall. I might have to block what I read before getting one this year now though. Or just diy one. Debatable.
