St. Patrick's Day

We all slept in a little this morning (7:30 is our sleeping in. Just in case you were thinking something cray like 10:00.. those days are long gone) handsome didn't have to be into work early so it was nice to spend the morning with him. It's a rainy/gloomy St. Patrick's Day over here, but we're making the best of it with some appropriately themed snacks :)

I actually made this skirt for her because the only green outfit I had was a halter romper and I just knew we wouldn't have warm enough weather for her to wear it.

My Lucky link-up never ended up posting a recipe, unless I'm completely clueless and could not find it (sorry!) so in order to satisfy my sweet tooth I made rice krispy treats with lucky charm marshmallows. I wish I could say that these even made it to St. Patricks day, but they were gone in a day. whoops.

While Rae took her first nap I made some quick rainbow fruit skewers for her to snack on when she woke up. We're those parents that haven't given Rae any sugar yet, so the girl is completely obsessed with fruit which is amazing. Any time the fridge opens she goes for the grapes and every night after dinner its "ba! ba!" in loud shrieks for the dang banana's..

Hope you're all having a wonderful day! Enjoy some corned beef and cabbage for me :) and say a little prayer because the movers come tomorrow to pack up our ENTIRE house. We'll be camping in our living room for the next week after that.

  3. I love her outfit! Such a tiny little lady, so cute. We ended up having green fruit for breakfast but was wishing I'd done the rainbow fruit instead. Hopefully I remember next year!
