It's the Little Things [Crafts]

I got this idea from Vanessa over at Sunflower State of Mind. Seriously, such a genius idea! I am almost willing to bet that a larger version of this will be hanging up in our new home.

You should have heard the squeals that were followed by me pouring paint on paper. Rae thought for sure she was going to be able to smear that all over the kitchen table herself.

We sent one off to Lola for her birthday and completely forgot to take a picture of the end result.

She was a little more interested in eating while we were making dad a card for his graduation. Handsome has been in Texas for school to become a recruiter in the Air Force and we are THRILLED that he is coming home in three days. Guess who's sleeping in on Sunday!

With the weather being a complete flop and switching to extremely cold, these little crafts keep us busy and entertained. I'm really enjoying Raelyn at this age with all the exploring and discovering she is doing. I'm pretty sure ever since she's discovered the air vent on the floor, half a bag of Cheerio's and some spoons are down there now. She definitely keeps me on my toes, but watching her eyes light up with excitement is worth every bit of chasing her around.

  5. I've seen something like this before on Pinterest, but never with the paper inside. That is such a cool idea. I try painting with my little and all he wants to do is dip the brush in the paint bottles. This a way easier and cleaner. I will definitely have to try. Thanks for sharing!
